About IBTUF

What is the Verizon focus for IBTUF-XI

IBTUF-XI 2017, “Overcoming Operational Challenges” - This year’s IBTUF preparations are underway and will include a significant format change. This year we are moving away from an in-building only focus to expand the internal audience; the working theme is “Overcoming Operational Challenges.” DAS training classes are being reduced significantly in scope and number to allow for classes focused on operational challenges such as “RF Fundamentals”, “Advanced PIM-Rooftop PIM identification and mitigation”, “PIM/VSWR Training- How to avoid costly analysis errors”, and “Interference Finding and Mitigation.” This is designed to provide a greater impact on our immediate business needs by communicating solutions to known problems in the network. General session discussions will also focus on our current operational challenges and emphasize success stories from around the country in the Small Cell and CRAN spaces. Invitations to speak are also being included with Exhibitor Invitations requesting ideas from interested parties. This will serve to identify unique vendor opportunities and will provide more depth to the General Session topics.

Invitation Process

The Verizon IBTUF Forum is by invitation ONLY!

All Verizon Employees are invited.

Invitations are emailed to vendors, turnkey system providers and other attendees. Invites are sent out the week after Labor Day, in September, for the next IBTUF Forum.

If your contact person has changed from the last IBTUF forum please provide us an update, customerservice@ibtuf.com.

Verizon requirements: (Vendors, TSP’s etc. desiring to attend or exhibit.)

Approved Vendors only that have a contract with Verizon.

Verizon IBTUF Forum Committee has approved the applicant, meets the business requirements and focus of the current forum.

Process for consideration for an invite to IBTUF: After September 15th if you have not received an invitation and wish to be considered.

Contact your local Verizon sponsor in a regional office and asked them to contact the Verizon IBTUF Forum Committee to be considered for an invitation. If approved, we will send an invitation with specific instructions. Invite may specify attendee only approval.

Exhibit and attendee space is limited, not all applicants may be approved.

FAQ

We did not receive an invitation. How can my company get an invitation to IBTUF?

Contact your primary contact at Verizon and request them to sponsor your company’s attendance at IBTUF. The Verizon sponsor will need to contact the Verizon Forum committee to determine if your company will receive an invitation. The Forum committee will then send us an email to send an invitation if approved.

If my company attended or exhibited last year will we automatically get an invitation each year?

No, Verizon each year selects the vendors, turnkey system providers and other attendees to attend the IBTUF forum. Since Verizon’s business focus may change from year to year no company is insured they will receive an invite for the next IBTUF forum until the forum committee has made their final selections.

What is the process to present at IBTUF?

Presentation outlines must be submitted to forum committee by September 30th. The Verizon Forum committee selects those they deem interesting to the group and will need a final presentation for review by November 15th. Final selection of presentations to be presented at IBTUF is by the forum committee.

How are presenters or presentations selected?

The IBTUF Forum Committee has final selection of which presentations are given.
